2. In addition to your own blurb, you are tasked with coming up with a title and subsequent blurb that represents the entire group. You are tasked with making a second posting that names the group of projects and delivers a blurb to describe the panel. The best group description will be used in the program for the final presentation, and the person who delivers the most effectively written description will earn a 4 point bonus on the final presentation.
Relationships: Romantic Relationships in a College Environment
ReplyDeleteScholars have focused a lot of research on the benefits of long- distance relationships in the overall population, but research focusing specifically on college students’ long- distance relationships shows beneficial results. A survey followed by an interview process compares long- distance and geographically- close relationships on a college campus to determine how satisfied individuals are with their long- distance relationships and what unique benefits they gain from the experience.

Our purpose is to help individuals better understand what factors in their relationship they can benefit from and what factors can possibly hinder the progress of their relationship.
1) Technological and Social Advancements in correlation with Romantic Relationship Intensity
ReplyDeleteMany large scale surveys in the past have offered beneficial information of how the advancements in our access to technological outlets have affected our romantic relationships. To expand this research, multiple interviews of couples from different stages in their relationships with different intensities of social media involvement was used to determine in what way relationships were affected, and whether the outcomes would have been avoided if technology had not advanced so drastically. The research is being used to establish what level of a healthy relationship can be obtained, and if it has differed through the digital revolution.
